WELCOME TO THE TEAM
The DILO family is growing once again, thanks to the continued loyalty and support of our customers! We are proud to welcome new members Ricardo Alvarez, Lisa Hill, and James Waits to our team. As our products and offerings grow, we are adding new staff to better serve you.
“This work represents a new challenge for me. In addition to being a great opportunity to contribute to the growth of DILO as a company, it’s a chance to learn a different market than what I know.”
Ricardo Alvarez, Staff Engineer
Ricardo Alvarez joined our team in February. As the Staff Engineer, Ricardo is responsible for creating and maintaining DILO’s technical drawings, written procedures, and process flow charts. Ricardo’s family, which includes his English Bulldog Thor, relocated from Costa Rica to Tampa, FL two years ago.
Ricardo previously worked as an Industrial engineer specializing in process standardization, waste reduction, and the implementation of the 5S program for lean success. Ricardo’s work in continuous improvement projects fits well with DILO’s vision of growth through documentation standardization.
“I am excited about opportunity to grow as the Sales and Marketing Associate for DILO. I look forward to working with customers and creating informative and educational marketing materials”.
Lisa Hill, Inside Sales and Marketing Associate
We are pleased to welcome Lisa Hill as our Inside Sales and Marketing Associate. As the Inside Sales and Marketing Associate, Lisa supports the efforts of the sales team, supports seminar and training sessions and contributes to DILO marketing and publication material. Before joining DILO, Lisa spent 10 years as an ISO:9001 Lead Auditor preforming environmental compliance work throughout the US. Lisa lives in Tampa Bay with her family.
“I’m happy to be able to put my years of experience in calibration and repair to work helping to propel this maintenance program to the next level.”
James Waits, Calibration Supervisor
We are pleased to welcome James Waits as our Calibration Supervisor. James is responsible for managing the operation of the calibration area, which includes developing the tools, methods, and procedures necessary for the calibration technicians to decrease turnaround time and cost while increasing reliability and expanding our offerings.
James comes to DILO with 18 years of government service, first as a member of the United States Air Force then as a civilian at the Kennedy Space Center where he served as an avionics and calibration technician. James’ hobbies include playing the saxophone and an Instagram account that features cats on water skis.
